Oracle‘s health sciences unit has released a mobile application aimed at helping clinical research associates managed clinical study cycle times.
The Oracle Health Sciences Mobile Clinical Research Associate app is intended for field use and designed to have geolocation-features, the company said Wednesday.
Neil de Crescenzo, senior vice president and general manager for health sciences, said the company intends for the app to help clinical associates manage their responsibilities using a single mobile device.
The app is built to integrate with Oracle’s Siebel Clinical Trial Management System and Oracle Health Sciences Clinical Development Analytics.
Oracle also said it intends for the app to provide users real-time access to clinical trial information, single-view site study site performance indicators, milestones alerts and study site check-in features.
