Reston, Va.-based Pragmatics has appointed Dieter Guenter a group manager for the company’s Innovative Solutions International subsidiary, Pragmatics’ transportation group.
The 17-year ISI veteran will oversee Federal Aviation Administration support contracts and lead a team providing clients satellite navigation, airport, and aviation technologies, Pragmatics said Monday.
Guenter, a former Navy fighter pilot and airline transport pilot, will also be responsible for aligning growth plans and pursuing growth in the transportation market.
He joined Pragmatics in 2010 upon its acquisition of ISI, where he served in positions such as vice president, member of the board of directors and a program manager for an FAA contract.
ISI said Guenter also led design, development and implementation of a GNSS performance monitoring system.
The subsidiary provides agencies support for aviation-related program management, engineering and operational projects, Pragmatics said.
Team members bring backgrounds in air traffic control, commercial business and general aviation, government and military service.
