Raytheon will present three new sensing and effects technology offerings at an upcoming international defense industry forum in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The International Defence Exhibition and Conference trade show, scheduled for Feb. 17 through 21, will also feature Raytheon technologies in mission support and C3I (command, control, computers and intelligence), the company said Thursday.
Matt Riddle, president of Raytheon International, said the company works with Middle East customers on equipping armed forces for regional security missions.
The company will present its Mobile Range system for operating test ranges and a clip-on thermal weapon sight system intended to provide warfighters infrared imagery.
Raytheon will also display its TransTalk system, a language translation device intended to help exchange information across language barriers.Within the United Arab Emirates, the company says also is working with the UAE Higher Colleges of Technology and Johns Hopkins University to start a post-graduate degree program in systems engineering.
