Two Science Applications International Corp. subsidiaries made the top ten list on an industry survey of healthcare software and services vendors.
Vitalize Consulting Solutions ranked fourth and maxIT Healthcare ranked seventh in the overall services firm category for market research firm KLAS’ Best In KLAS Awards, SAIC said Monday.
MaxIT also ranked fourth out of six companies in the ICD-10 consulting category and both subsidiaries also made the lists for the clinical implementation principal and planning and assessment categories.
Both subsidiaries provide clients clinical implementation support services, planning and assessment and staff augmentation support.
SAIC purchased VCS in August 2011 for an undisclosed amount and acquired maxIT in August 2012 for $473 million in a move aimed at helping commercial healthcare customers integrate electronic health records and moving federal healthcare clients to commercial EHR applications.
