Judy Marks, president and CEO of Siemens Government Technologies, will sign a statement of employer support for the National Guard and Reserve Monday afternoon at the Pentagon.

Siemens and other companies are signing the pledge to affirm their support of National Guard and Reserve soldiers in the workforce and to ensure supervisors have the tools they need to manage that part of the workforce, the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve said Monday.

Lt. General William Troy, director of the Army Staff, and ESGR National Chairman James Rebholz will join Marks at the ceremony.

“Siemens actively seeks to hire the best and the brightest for positions around the country and our service men and women possess unique skill sets and training that make them outstanding employees,” said Eric Spiegel, president and CEO of Siemens U.S.

The company received the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award in 2012, which the ESGR says is the country’s highest award for employers supporting Guard and Reserve members.
