WeberSoftware AG USA Inc. has established Software AG Government Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary exclusively focused on providing unique and targeted solutions to U.S. federal government customers, according to a company statement.

“The launch of Software AG Government Solutions is a critical component of the strategic initiative to increase our investment in North America that was introduced by Software AG CEO Karl-Heinz Streibich in early 2012,“ said Jay Johnson, president and CEO.

Software AG Government Solutions works to provide federal customers with rapid and efficient assessment of IT alternatives to meet the unique IT challenges of the sector.

Software AG Government Solutions said it will leverage industry-leading products, including webMethods, Terracotta BigMemory, CentraSite and ARIS, to address some of the most highly complex and difficult IT challenges in the government sector.
