BAElogoBAE Systems Detica has been selected to manage the U.K. Foreign and Commonwealth Office“™s global service integration framework under a potential $119 million information technology contract.

The project could run for up to six years with BAE and the FCO scheduled to formally sign a contract in the summer, ComputerworldUK.com reported Monday.

Under the contract, BAE will be tasked with maintaining and updating systems for the service management integration framework and integrate the FCO“™s IT suppliers in more than 260 locations worldwide.

Martin Sutherland, BAE Systems Detica managing director, said the company would combine its delivery management and security portfolio with the company’s integrated service management team for the project.
