More recently, Al Verrecchia became full-time chairman of the board for Iron Mountain on March 15.
Part of the reason he became chairman is because the company’s board voted to separate the chairman and CEO roles upon the retirement of Richard Reese.
In another recent and similar appointment, CEO of Intelsat Dave McGlade was elected chairman of the company’s board.
Also this month, Tom Georgens, president and CEO of NetApp, joined the board of directors at engineering and software firm Autodesk.
