GovCon Firms Among Ethisphere’s 2013 ‘World’s Most Ethical Companies’

SurveyThe Ethisphere Institute, a global think tank aimed at sharing best practices for business ethics and corporate social responsibility, has named several government contracting companies to its 2013 list of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies.”

Ethisphere magazine, the institutes’ quarterly publication, publishes the rankings of companies’ standards and practices in both ethics and legal compliance.

This year’s list includes GovCon firms in sectors such as aerospace, engineering, consulting and technology.

Ethisphere uses its Ethics Quotient to compile the list, including categories such as ethics and compliance programs; reputation, innovation and leadership; governance; corporate citizenship and responsibilities; and ethics cultures.

Companies making Ethisphere’s list for 2013 include:

  • CH2M Hill
  • Cisco
  • Concurrent Technologies Corp.
  • Dun & Bradstreet
  • Intel
  • Microsoft
  • Noblis
  • Parsons Corp.
  • Rockwell Collins
  • Symantec
  • Xerox

Companies on the list gathered at the Global Ethics Summit in New York City Tuesday and Wednesday for its unveiling.
