ICFlogoICF International has won a $48 million three-year, recompete contract to help build a 500kV electrical transmission line for a major U.S. utility.

According to a company statement, it will conduct biological surveys and provide on-site monitoring to help ensure compliance with environmental requirements during the construction period.

“This work has contributed to the client“™s ability to construct one of the nation“™s largest transmission lines under the most rigorous environmental requirements,“ said Ted Lee, vice president for ICF International.

For the past three years, ICF has provided similar services to the major U.S. utility.
