Microsoft Signs Bahrain Govt Enterprise Agreement Renewal - top government contractors - best government contracting event

MicrosoftLogoMicrosoft has signed a new three-year enterprise agreement with a government agency in Bahrain to provide its products and services to all government entities in the country, Gulf Daily News reports.

This signing marks the second renewal of the agreement and comes nearly three years after Microsoft and Bahrain’s Central Informatics Organisation signed the first renewal.

Mohammed Al Amer, CIO president, said the agency is is aiming to standardize and consolidate its information and communication technology infrastructure through the partnership.

Al Amer signed the agreement with Charbel Fakhoury, Microsoft vice president for sales, marketing and services in the Middle East and Africa region, signed the agreement.

Almoayyed Computers will work with the CIO to deploy Microsoft software and services throughout the public sector and also help train government employees on how to use the technologies.
