Sabre Systems’ Teri Reis Joins STEM Organization’s Board

Teri Reis, director for the Aberdeen, Md. region at Sabre Systems, is joining the board of directors for an organization that promotes programs in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields in Maryland.

Reis was inducted into the Northeastern Maryland Technology Council’s board Feb. 28 at the council’s Visionary Awards ceremony in Edgewood, Md., Sabre said Wednesday.

“I was honored to be selected for the NMTC board and look forward to helping the organization meet its goal of advancing technology and increasing economic growth throughout the region,” Reis said.

She joined the company in 2002 and has also served in the U.S. Air Force.

The 11-year company veteran also serves as a board member of the Army Alliance, a non-profit civic organization that supports programs and organizations at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

NMTC provides member companies, organizations and individuals with networking and educational initiatives with the goal of growing northeastern Maryland’s STEM workforce.
