Accenture has opened a new virtual center for clients to test process-specific business products based on Oracle engineered systems.
The Center of Excellence for Oracle Engineered Systems seeks to address enterprise performance, reliability and scalability concerns when deploying such offerings, Accenture said Tuesday.
Each environment is built to run Oracle's Exadata database machine, Exalogic elastic cloud and Exalytics in-memory machine via an Oracle-powered cloud platform.
Consultants from both Accenture and Oracle are on hand to answer queries, guide or help troubleshoot problems, Accenture said.
“With heightened interest from enterprises in big data and cloud technologies, this is the perfect opportunity for clients to experiment with new technologies without making a large investment,” said Derek Steelberg, global managing director for Accenture’s Oracle business.
Oracle’s Exadata hardware package includes software, storage, servers and networking for data warehouses and online transaction processing while the Oracle Exalogic is a hardware-software combination intended to be compatible with Oracle Fusion Middleware.
