CyberReveal is designed to process records from devices to help analysts view the activity of an entire information technology infrastructure and identify emerging attacks, BAE said Monday.
Martin Sutherland, Detica managing director, said the product is built to focus on incidents based on their impact, manage big data, shore up defense systems and help customers make decisions.
CyberReveal consists of three components:
- Platform to analyze data from an entire IT estate and help prioritize security events
- Analytics that use attack models and BAE research to detect threats based on their behavior
- Investigator that provides visualizations of prioritized security incidents
The security product works with existing security infrastructures containing plug-in analytics packs to ward off emerging threats, Detica says.
“This is the first time we’re making our technology available for companies that have their own analysts,” Sutherland said.
“It can show them where they need to focus their attention and piece together disparate data to give them the big picture — critical to defending against the most advanced and insidious cyber threats,” he added.
CyberReveal is available as an in-house product for companies with their own security analysts or with additional support from Detica’s managed security services team.
