CCSILogoCreative Computing Solutions Inc. and Socrata are partnering to help federal agencies use big data to make decisions and fulfill their objectives.

The partnership will combine the data analytics and performance management offerings of both companies and aim to help federal health organizations comply with reporting requirements under the Meaningful Use and the Affordable Care Act, CCSi said Wednesday.

Erika Smith, Socrata vice president of emerging markets, said the companies are aiming to bring innovation into federal agencies and consumerize access to health information.

Data analytics and performance management tools intend to help organizations to analyze, act and report about information derived from big data, according to CCSi.

CCSi and Socrata will also work with health organizations to integrate data from multiple agencies and sources and translate that data into tools for analysis.

“Aside from its people, information is government’s strongest asset,“ said Naren Bewtra, CCSi president and chief operating officer.
