A joint venture comprising of a CH2M Hill subsidiary and Colas and Contain has won a two-year contract extension to continue providing maintenance and operational services to the U.K. Highways Agency.
The extension continues a five-year managing agent contract Halcrow and Colas and Contain holds with the agency, CH2M Hill said Friday.
A-One+, the joint venture, will maintain and operate motorways and truck roads in the East Midlands area covering the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland.
The follow on contract is worth $92 million per year and will run through June 2016.
“This extension will also provide an excellent opportunity to shape and develop innovative asset management procurement models for the future,” said Peter McDermott, Halcrow director for highways and bridges.
