Ciber Inc. and Cerner Corp. have partnered to jointly provide Infor application management and hosting services for healthcare organizations looking to increase current service offerings.
The joint effort combines Cerner's hosting services with Ciber's Infor management, implementation and upgrade, which the two companies hope to sustain customers' Infor software investments without additional in-house resources, according to a Ciber statement.
The collaboration builds on Ciber’s more than 20 years of partnership in providing Infor solutions to healthcare organizations.
“With Ciber's implementation expertise and managed services know-how, we believe this joint effort will enable us to deliver fast and solid value to healthcare organizations and the patients they serve,“ said Beth Dvoracek, Ciber's senior Infor practice director.
Ciber has been working with Infor since 1995, improving client systems capabilities for more than 2 million consulting hours, according to the company.
Meanwhile, Cerner has delivered hosting services for more than 13 years.
