Hewlett-Packard has selected an E2open cloud-based platform for the company to collaborate with its global supply chain partners across all of HP’s product lines.
HP intends for the system to handle different methods of managing inventory and help connect the company with its trading partners across purchase orders, returns and sales orders, E2open said Tuesday.
Tony Prophet, HP senior vice president of operations, said the company aims to consolidate its global procurement process through E2open’s cloud platform.
“We plan to use E2open’s bi-directional, cloud-based platform so we can connect and collaborate with our partners in real time,” said Pervinder Johar, HP vice president of global supply chain systems.
More than 34,000 trading partners, totaling around 105,000 unique registered users, utilize the E2open Business Network to access collaborative analytics and tools for making decisions.
