Lockheed Martin has commended 13 of its U.S.-based suppliers for supporting the company’s defense portfolio over the past year.
The company’s missiles and fire control and training and logistics solutions business units selected the group among thousands of its suppliers across the U.S. for the supplier awards,, Lockheed said Wednesday.
Pat Sunderlin, vice president of procurement in the missiles and fire control business, said small businesses help the company develop defense systems and technologies for allied troops.
“Lockheed Martin’s supplier awards are a true mark of excellence and awarded to only a small percentage of suppliers,” said Jon Rambeau, vice president of training and logistics solutions.
