Ed Sheehan serves as president and CEO of Concurrent Technologies Corp. and as vice chairman of the company’s board of directors.
Sheehan also serves as chairman of CTC Enterprise Ventures Corp., vice chairman and president of the CTC Foundation and is a member of the Commonwealth Research Institute’s board.
In May 2008, Sheehan began serving as a member of the Pennsylvania Board of Education for a six-year term after being nominated by Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell.
He has also started and operated several firms, principally in the manufacturing and professional services industries.
Sheehan serves on a number of boards including a number of Pennsylvania‐based economic development and charitable organizations. He was previously the chairman of the board of directors of the United Way of Pennsylvania and the Board of DSN Innovations.
He has also served as vice chairman of the board of directors of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry; chairman of the board’s government affairs committee; president of the board of the 12th Congressional Region Equipment Center; member of the Western Region Advisory Board of Highmark Inc.; member of the Board of Trustees of Mount Aloysius College; member of the Johnstown Area Regional Industries Board of Directors; member of the advisory board at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown; and a member and secretary of the John P. Murtha Foundation.
Sheehan earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
