The subsidiary will construct new centers in Hong Kong and London and also modify eight other facilities, said Tuesday.
Savvis intends to expand its outsourcing and interconnectivity offerings with its more than 50 data centers worldwide that occupy more than 2.4 million total square feet of land area.
Jeff Von Deylen, Savvis president, said the subsidiary’s customers seek business and technical support on data and applications management from cloud computing to communications services.
Data centers to be renovated are located in:
- Piscataway, N.J.
- Tampa, Fla.
Savvis also intends to renovate an existing center in London.
