Cubic Corp. has received a $19.9 million contract modification from the U.S. Defense Department to provide foreign military sales support for Israel“™s armed forces, DailyFinance.com reported Friday.
Under the amended firm-fixed-price contract, Cubic will modify a combat simulator in collaboration with Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and Bagira Systems, both based in Israel.
The Israeli Defense Forces uses the Engagement Skills Trainer 2000 Plus Systems to train in small arms systems such as M16 and M14 rifles.
Diversified systems and services company Cubic said it will perform other related services under the contract.
