LGS Innovations plans to move its network integration and services program delivery unit and back office operations to a new facility in High Point, N.C. from its current location in McLeansville.
The company signed a seven-year lease for the High Point location and expects the new office to start operating in August 2013, LGS said Thursday.
Nearly 110 employees work in this unit, according to LGS.
LGS worked with the Greensboro Economic Development Alliance and the High Point Economic Development Corporation to select the location.
“It is such great news for its Guilford County employees – and for the community – that the company will continue to call our area home,” said Loren Hill, HPEDC president.
The company intends to launch several internal information technology programs through the new location.
Ciba Specialty Chemicals previously occupied the High Point office until 2009, when BASF acquired Ciba and closed operations there.
