NavyShipThe U.S. Navy plans to issue a request for proposals for a new shipboard network computing equipment procurement on or around Friday, Nextgov reported Monday.

Bob Brewin writes the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command expects to award the next Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services contract to up to three companies.
