Siemens has won a four-year contract with municipal contracting agency to help secure facilities for more than 50,000 organizations that hold membership in the alliance.
The National Joint Powers Alliance purchases more than $1 billion in products for government, higher education, K-12 education, non-profit and other public agencies in the U.S. per year under contract, Siemens said Wednesday.
NJPA intends for the pre-competed national contract to offer members a single procurement process for starting and planning projects.
“We look forward to working with the members of NJPA on this unified purchasing alliance,” says Rob Welton, Siemens Industry national business development manager.
Tony Glenz, NJPA contract manager, said the company will provide sales and service support to alliance members on a local level.
