Simon Lee, STG chairman and CEO, has received an honorary doctorate degree from his alma mater of Korea University, recognizing his contributions to the community and education.
Lee accepted the degree Thursday and delivered a speech during the College of Engineering's 50th anniversary celebration, STG said.
During his keynote, Lee told the graduates to pursue their passions, work hard and continue to learn as they leave the university.
“Use the strong educational foundation you've received and the connections you've made during your time here in everything you do and you cannot fail,“ he said.
“It is wonderful to receive this honor in front of my family at my beloved alma mater,“ Lee added.
Korea University was founded in 1905 and has 22 colleges, 89 academic departments and 124 research institutes.
