Booz Allen Hamilton and Turkey-based software and systems company Havelsan have signed a master teaming agreement to provide technical services to future clients in the government and commercial defense sectors.
The collaboration will involve projects supporting foreign military sales programs and could include areas such as cybersecurity and e-government, Booz Allen said Monday.
Work could also involve training and simulation technologies, border security and critical infrastructure protection.
Representatives from both companies finalized the agreement at an annual conference on U.S.-Turkish relations in Washington/
“Havelsan’s capabilities provide a strong complement to our own, and we look forward to extending our reach into Turkey and elsewhere in the region,” said Charles Hamilton, Booz Allen Hamilton vice president.
“Havelsan will work as a local partner and a global actor with Booz Allen Hamilton and would like to build a strong synergy and provide solutions to the relevant markets,” said Sadik Yamac, Havelsan CEO and general manager.
