A health insurance provider in UAE has implemented Hewlett-Packard‘s servers, storage and support services to improve its business applications.
MedNet UAE will deploy the HP MSA P2000 G3 storage system and HP ProLiant BladeSystem c7000 enclosures with HP ProLiant BL460 server blades, HP said Sunday.
MedNet, a Munich Health company, will also use the HP ProLiant DL380 management servers for consolidation of storage and data access.
Einstein Johnson Rozario, MNU IT manager, said the deployed HP systems will be used to support MedNeXt Plus, an end-to-end health insurance products management application.
Rozario added the consolidated servers “have minimised downtime, reduced costs and improved customer service.”
The HP services will also support applications such as Microsoft Hyper V, Blackberry Enterprise Server and Microsoft Exchange.
MNU specializes in long-term healthcare needs and offers financial protection against health crises and expenses.
