Lockheed Martin has won a $5 million contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command to provide helicopter logistics and maintenance services to a regional military aviation division based at Fort Campbell, Ky.
The company will work to modify, maintain and repair the AH-64, UH-60, CH-47 and OH-58 helicopters, Lockheed said Tuesday.
Initial contract funds will cover transition efforts and program management work, the company says.
“We are honored to support the Army’s aviation units at Fort Campbell,” said June Shrewsbury, vice president of technical services at Lockheed’s missiles and fire control business.
Lockheed said it holds experience from previous logistics programs for the Navy and special operations forces.
