The Navy SEAL Foundation’s board of directors has selected Robin King as the foundation’s first chief executive officer in an effort to support the organization’s restructuring efforts.
As CEO, King will meet with Naval Special Warfare community leaders to anticipate future needs, the foundation announced in late May.
Prior to her appointment, King was the interim Executive Director since March 2013 and was in the organization’s senior leadership team since its founding.
King also served as the Navy SEAL Foundation’s deputy executive director and chief financial officer.
Through her fiscal management, the foundation said King helped the organization achieve the highest possible ranking from independent charity evaluator, Charity Navigator.
Bert Calland, Navy SEAL Foundation chairman and vice admiral, said, “Robin“™s longtime commitment to the Foundation and her intimate knowledge of the NSW community and their families make her the natural choice to help lead the Foundation into the future.”
