Red Hat is partnering with Mirantis to offer customers a set of tools that aim to deploy and integrate services for the OpenStack open source cloud platform.
Red Hat OpenStack offers infrastructure-as-a-service offerings and is designed to integrate with Linux-based operating systems, the company said Wednesday.
The companies will modify Mirantis’ Fuel suite of OpenStack management and deployment products to offer point-of-click and visual configuration features for Red Hat clients.
Radhesh Balakrishnan, Red Hat general manager of virtualization, said Mirantis aims for its implementation tools and services to complement Red Hat’s goals for providing customers enterprise-ready OpenStack platforms.
