Vormetric has signed an agreement to make International Integrated Systems Inc. its distribution partner in Taiwan as Vormetric attempts to expand its footprint in the Asia Pacific region.
Under the partnership, IISI intends to distribute and sign up more partners for San Jose, Calif.-based Vormetric’s products in Taiwan, the company said April 25.
Bruce Johnson, Vormetric vice president of global sales and services, said during the Info Security 2013 conference in Taiwan, that Vormetric data security has the encryption, key management, access control and reporting functions needed to defend networks against advanced persistent threats.
The company added that its Vormetric encryption offering provides database security of images, spreadsheets, PDFs and extract-transform-load data.
The security offering includes access controls that monitor and control privileged user access to sensitive data and includes database access monitoring and web application firewalls.
IISI is an IT consultation firm founded by IBM Taiwan, Chunghwa Telecom and the Institute for Information Industry.
