CA Technologies Inc. has extended its mainframe platform with new network and system management technologies designed to help customers achieve business goals.
The Infrastructure Management for Networks and Systems for CA Chorus works to unify systems, networks and DB2 database system for z/OS applications in a single interface, CA Technologies said Wednesday.
The new capabilities are intended to help information technology administrators address issues and minimize disruptions.
Users access the management platform through a unified workspace that enables IT personnel to enhance performance and reduce costs, according to CA Technologies.
Michael Madden, general manager for mainframe at CA Technologies, said the company intends to provide customers with tools needed to deliver IT services amid the growing mainframe demands.
CA Technologies also unveiled Cross-Enterprise Application Performance Management 3.0 that works to help boost the security of mainframe applications.
Additionally, the company introduced Database Management for DB2 V17 and Database Management for IMS V16.
