CH2M Hill to Organize Intl Cultural, Economic Forum

CH2MhillCH2M Hill will organize an international festival of ideas, art and culture with a goal to encourage regional leaders to implement initiatives for economic growth and cultural development.

Chairman and CEO Lee McIntire, Senior Vice President of Water Technologies Bill Bellamy and Senior Project Manager Anthony Marquez will be among the company executives scheduled to participate in discussions, the company said Thursday.

The first week of the 2013 Biennial of the Americas will work under the theme “Unleashing Human Potential: Reinventing Communities, Business, and Education.”

The event runs from Tuesday through September 2 in Denver and includes gatherings for the public and private sectors.

Architectural display and public art exhibitions that focus on “Draft Urbanism” will be on display throughout Denver, where CH2M Hill is headquartered.

Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper helped launch the Biennial of the Americas during his tenure as mayor of Denver.

An objective of the event is to provide leaders a venue to interact and address issues impacting life in the Americas region.
