Grant Thornton has expanded in five international markets after adding six professional services firms in those regions to its worldwide network.
This round of expansion covers Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the Eastern Caribbean, Canada and the U.K., Grant Thornton said Tuesday.
Luxembourg“™s PKF, Netherlands“™ ConQuaestor, two firms from PwC‘s Eastern Caribbean group, Canada“™s Breakwater Accounting Advisors LLP and the financial services advisory arm of Navigant in the U.K. have joined Grant Thornton.
A team of 400 Utrecht, Netherlands-based consultants will provide strategic and organizational services to private and public sector clients as a result of the ConQuaestor merger.
The PwC merger will aim to serve customers in nine Eastern Caribbean countries.
In Canada, the Breakwater Accounting Advisors team will provide public and private sector clients services in financial reporting, governance, risk and compliance, as well as anti-fraud and anti-corruption.
Navigant“™s financial advisory business joined Grant Thornton in the U.K. with a team of 45 professionals, including three partners and nine directors to work with retail banking industry customers.
