IBM Corp. has selected Avnet Technology Solutions to be a global training partner that will provide IBM resellers and end-users with knowledge and skills about the company’s portfolios.
Avnet will begin the two-phase training in Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, U.K., Ireland and the United States, and later in the Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe and Latin America on July 12, Avnet said Friday.
Bob McDonald, vice president of IBM Training, said Avnet will aim to develop and maintain technical skills, knowledge and capabilities in mobile, cloud, analytics and social business for IBM’s clients.
The company will offer more than 2,500 training courses to IBM employees, partners and customers worldwide through the IBM Training Partners network.
Phil Gallagher, global president of Avnet Technology Solutions, added the training program will enable the company to expand its offerings and drive education intended to help partners and resellers meet customers’ needs.
Jack Morton Worldwide is a member of the IBM Training Partners, providing technical training to individuals and companies.
