The deal will enable the FAA to utilize Tenable Network Security’s compliance and intelligence products under a strategic sales program called SAVES, according to Iron Bow.
Tenable Network Security CEO Ron Gula said the company looks forward to helping the FAA protect its networks against potential cybersecurity threats.
The company intends to offer the FAA its SecurityCenter Continuous View application designed to establish an integrated platform for systems that control, manage and monitor security information and other forms of data.
Iron Bow says Tenable Network Security has provided network offerings to the Defense Department as well as 12 federal agencies.
Recently, Gula as well as Tenable Network Security President and Chief Operating Officer Jack Huffard and Chief Research Officer Renaud Deraison were named recipients of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 award in Defense and Security.
