New Lockheed Org Aims to Boost Global Partnerships; Marillyn Hewson Comments - top government contractors - best government contracting event

LockheedLogoLockheed Martin has created a new organization that will aim to strengthen the company’s relationships with customers and partners worldwide.

The Lockheed Martin International team will deliver technologies and services that seek to help clients address their national security and economic development issues, Lockheed said Monday.

Marillyn Hewson, Lockheedpresident and CEO, said LMI intends to integrate the company’s business operations across 70 countries.

Patrick Dewar, formerly Lockheed senior vice president of corporate strategy and business development, will serve as executive vice president of the LMI organization.

The 28-year company veteran will continue to serve as a corporate officer and has been succeeded by Paul Lemmo (click over to GovCon Wire for more coverage on Lemmo’s new role).

LMI has corporate headquarters in Washington and London and has regional offices in Singapore, Tokyo and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
