Oceus Networks has updated its network management software portfolio for customers that aim to securely manage wireless infrastructure in remote and hostile areas or emergency response situations.
The ONmission software is designed to work on mobile broadband platforms such as the company’s Xiphos 4G LTE system, Oceus said Wednesday.
Version 2.0 includes features designed to help users analyze radio frequency coverage and detect system jamming and interference.
Doug Smith, Oceus CEO, said the product utilizes technology that works to configure, audit and track multiple mobile networks and end-user devices.
“On the battlefield, in remote locations and emergency response situations, reliable management of mobile network infrastructure and end user devices is mission critical,” Smith said.
ONmission also seeks to fulfill 3rd Generation Partnership Project and Internet Engineering Task Force standards, the company says.
Oceus says the updated software stands alone or coexists with higher level systems through alarm forwarding.
