Sabre Wins Navy Aviation Technical Services Contract; Glen Ives Comments

sabreSabre Systems has won a $2.5 million follow-on contract to provide technical services to a U.S. Navy aviation unit.

The readiness directorate of the Naval Air Forces commander for the Atlantic and Pacific fleet is responsible for assessing, monitoring and maintaining resources, Sabre said Thursday.

Cowan & Associates will serve as a subcontractor to Sabre for the project.

“Sabre has supported this customer performing readiness training, analysis and assessment for over 15 consecutive years,” said Glen Ives, Sabre Mid-Atlantic region group vice president.

“We look forward to supporting them especially in this time of challenging budgets and emerging requirements,” Ives added.

Under the three-year contract, the companies will perform research and development activities as well as special studies in California and Virginia.
