SAP has introduced a new database system that aims to help enterprises process large volumes of unstructured data and transactions in real-time.
Version 15.7 of SAP Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise has monitoring and diagnostic features designed to address demanding transactional environments, SAP said Wednesday.
Irfan Khan, SAP chief technology officer and senior vice president of database and technology, said the latest offering uses a methodology that works to help organizations store and release data.
The company released ASE 15.7 to coincide with the launch of its Replication Server product, which works to reproduce information in real-time without disrupting processes and applications.
Users can run the database management suite on Solaris x64, Windows x86, Linux x64 and Integrity i4 operating systems.
