An information technology-based security company TWD & Associates holds minority ownership in has been approved for a General Services Administration Schedule contract covering physical security countermeasure and authentication products and services.
TWD ESS Services acquired the GSA Schedule 84 contract through its purchase of Clear Government Solutions Inc.’s security division, TWD ESS said Monday.
“As government agencies are increasingly focused on security concerns, we welcome the opportunity to help the public sector protect its valuable assets,” said Marlon Phillips, president of TWD ESS.
The company launched earlier this year and Phillips, a two-decade telecommunications veteran, holds a majority stake.
Federal, state and local government agencies use GSA Schedule 84 to acquire products and services for law enforcement, security, facilities management, fire, rescue and marine craft as well as emergency and disaster response operations.
Products covered under TWD ESS’ contract include:
