CA Technologies Signs Cloud Security Mgmt Agreement; Mike Denning Comments - top government contractors - best government contracting event

CA-technologies-logo EbizCA Technologies and NTT Com Security have forged a partnership to deliver cloud-based identity and access management services in Japan and the Asia Pacific.

Under a signed agreement, NTT Com Security will offer CA’s software-as-a-service platform CloudMinder from data centers in the APJ region with the aim of helping enterprises comply with data sovereignty laws, CA said Wednesday.

“The use of cloud, social networking tools, and mobile devices and applications have opened the enterprise and erased any security perimeter that may have existed,” said Mike Denning, CA senior vice president and general manager of security.

Denning added CloudMinder intends for information technology personnel to secure applications on premise or in the cloud.

The platform also offers out-of-the-box security for social identity sources and programs such as Microsoft Office 365, CA says.
