Grant Thornton has appointed new professionals to serve as partners and principals at firm offices across the country, effective Aug. 1.
Another twenty employees were promoted to managing directors, the highest-level employee position in the firm, Grant Thornton said Wednesday.
“Our new managing directors are essential to the successful operations of our firm and in helping our partners execute the firm’s strategy,” said Stephen Chipman, Grant Thornton CEO,
The newly-promoted partners, principals and managing directors are located in cities such as Los Angeles, Houston, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston and New York City.
Chipman said the new partners and principals were chosen for their technical and leadership skills.
Some of the new positions include tax partner, audit partner, business advisory services partner, corporate strategic federal tax services partner, global public sector advisory principal and others.
