Jeffrey Berson, a 20-year investment banking veteran, has been appointed chief investment officer at data center services provider QTS.
He will be in charge of initiatives for business and investment growth and will help the chief financial officer manage activities in key markets from the company’s Kansas offices, QTS said August 22.
Berson most recently served as media and communications group managing director at UBS and also held senior posts at Barclays Capital, CIBC World Markets and Oppenheimer & Co.
QTS CEO and Chairman Chad Williams said Berson intends to apply his data center and managed services background in support of the company’s expansion strategies.
Throughout his career, Berson had been involved in various public and private debt settlement transactions, merger and acquisition deals and buy-out settlements worth nearly $30 million combined.
