Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has won a multimillion-dollar order from the U.S. Army to develop a simulation system for UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters to be used for medical evacuation training program.
USfalcon will work as subcontractor to provide multiple medical support equipment suites designed to help air crew students utilize aircraft apparatus and tools for emergency situations during actual missions, Kratos said Wednesday.
A goal of the program is to acquire communications and patient care facilities that would enable flight medic trainees to perform actual rescue and treatment procedures.
Jose Diaz, Kratos training solutions senior vice president, said the company intends to apply more than a decade of experience as a UH-60 training platform producer.
“We are very pleased to continue advancing air crew training systems for the U.S. Army,” Diaz added.
Kratos says it provides a range of services to maintain and support military training programs for aircraft, vehicle systems and warfighters.
