LMI, AUSA Issue Report on Strategic Mobility

LMILogoLMI has released a 25-page report on the future of U.S. strategic mobility in partnership with the educational non-profit Association of the United States Army’s Institute of Land Warfare.

The report is entitled “Strategic Mobility: Enabling Global Responsiveness for America’s Force of Decisive Action,” LMI said Thursday.

Nelson Ford, LMI president and CEO, said the report is intended for decision makers, defense experts and the general audience.

Contributors to the report include LMI consultants Karen Goodson and John Fasching; Bill Dennison, program manager of operational logistics; and Ray Schaible, vice president of operational logistics.

A Dynetics-made unmanned aerial vehicle demonstrated autonomous and manual safety behaviors in a test flight series for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. The Gremlins Air Vehicle, with its corresponding recovery system, performed seven hours of flight in November, at Utah-based Dugway Proving Ground, Dynetics, a Leidos subsidiary, said Wednesday.
