Lockheed Martin will partner with software and systems integrator Adacel Technologies to offer an air traffic management system tool to the Australian government, Proactive Investors Australia reported Friday.
Bevis Yeo writes the companies are proposing Lockheed“™s Skyline Enterprise platform for a joint initiative run by Australia“™s Defence Department and AirServices Australia.
Skyline Enterprise aims to provide industry regulators and personnel with tools to monitor airspace activities and prevent incidents and issues that could cause flight delays and other problems, Yeo reports.
Yeo reports Adacel has recently signed $10 million in contract extensions wwith the U.S. Air Force and Federal Aviation Administration, as well as Italy’s aviation regulatory agency.
