Parsons will host for the third time an annual golf tournament for the benefit of more than 6,000 children of the Kids to Love Foundation.
The 2013 Kids to Love Golf Invitational is expected to generate more than $10,000 that the nonprofit organization will use to train foster parents and provide children with school supplies, gifts and scholarships, Parsons said Tuesday.
The event will take place on Aug. 2 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Hampton Cove in Huntsville, Ala.
Mary Ann Hopkins, Parsons group president, said Parsons will aim to carry forward its works for various communities.
The foundation, established in 2004, has already helped more than 100,000 foster children, according to Parsons.
