Serco Receives Pentagon Industrial Security Excellence Award; Ed Casey Comments

Ed Casey - Serco, ExecutiveMosaicSerco‘s U.S. subsidiary has received an award from a Defense Department organization, acknowledging the company’s work to establish security measures and best practices.

The company is among 24 recipients of the Defense Security Service‘s James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Achievement Award, Serco said July 12.

“We are honored to receive the Cogswell Award in recognition of our dedication and focus on security excellence,” said Ed Casey, Serco chairman and CEO.

“Our team here at Serco recognizes that national security impacts the safety of our warfighters and our nation,” Casey added.

DSS considered defense contractors with at least two consecutive superior industrial security review ratings to receive the recognition.

The agency announced winners at the 2013 National Classification Management Society annual conference in Chicago.
